Who'd guess that Paradise is 30 minutes south of Lexington?
More often than not, the response is: "I can't believe this is
Kentucky!" Indeed, the Palisades region of the Kentucky and Dix Rivers
can only be described as breathtaking. Limestone cliffs tower three
hundred feet above. Clear, cold water meanders through the gorge
crevice. Great Blue Herons soar overhead. This may not really be
Paradise, but you can almost see it from here.
